What is HIFU?

HIFU (High Intensity Focused Ultrasound)

Lift and tighten the skin from the SMAS layer , targeting fat cells on the body - flushing them via your lymphatic system whilst also tightening and lifting the skin all in one treatment.

When we are treating pockets of fat it’s important to also tighten the skin so you aren’t left with saggy skin.

HIFU heats the deeper layers of the dermis to 60-70 degrees (depending on area we are treating we have 9 cartridge depths to work with) activating fibroblast cells to regenerate collagen and elastin to lift & tighten the skin.

I have heavily invested in this medical grade device, training and research. The DualHi is a medical grade device, with the newest technology and dual transducer (the hand piece uses both ends during each single pulse to be thorough and more effective and less uncomfortable) the DualHi is TGA Approved and listed as a Class II device. 

For every face and body treatment we will be using 3 cartridges customised  for your  concerns. We want RESULTS so treatment will be determined on how to achieve results. 

Previously the only treatment that works on the SMAS layer of the dermis to tighten the skin was plastic surgery.

You can treat full face, neck and décolleté, we can destroy the fat cells on a double chin whilst lifting and tightening the skin, combining with the jawline for that “snatched” look. Treat anywhere on the body, including knee fat, cellulite, arms even Kankles and calves.

I have the latest HIFU technology we use the DualHi + with 9 cartridge depths to treat face and body. All treatments are customised to each Client. 

It has a dual transducer making treatment more effective than previous devices on the market,  as each shot comes from both ends of the cartridge in one single pass. All treatment areas cover 3 layers of dermis - SMAS Layer, Mid deep Dermis and superficial Dermis with 2 passes for each cartridge meaning from 1 treatment you see results. For the face 1-2 treatments over a 12 month period may be needed (results are seen at 12 weeks with an immediate result - you may see up to 20% improvement) for the body to target fat cells as well as tightening and lifting 2-3 Treatments over a course of 12 months are recommended- this will be assessed during Consultation. 

RESULTS last 18-24 months as natural collagen and elastin deplete you may want to do a follow up treatment. For fat cells this is a permanent Result if weight, lifestyle and health is maintained - we can target and may destroy 20%-40% of fat cells in a single session.

How many treatments of HIFU do i need? 

When treating the face 1-2 treatments are recommended depending on skin concern, age, health and lifestyle - over a course of 12months.

We do offer the Lift & Hydrate mini HIFU Facial using the Pen applicator and multiple other modalities to enhance your treatment.

When treating the body 2-3 treatments may be needed depending on your concerns and if we are targeting fat cells as well as skin Tightening & Lifting (this also applies when treating the double chin area) over a course of 12months.

How Long Will the Treatment last?

Once desired results are achieved, results will last 18-24 months - as we age our natural collagen and elastin depletes causing sagging to the face and body. If fat cells are destroyed this will be a permanent result if you maintain her weight, health and lifestyle. Using at home corrective skin care and SPF will prolong results, our clients receive optimal results by having regular in clinic treatments to maintain there skin.
